New Jersey Marathon-April 2015

On the last day of my 21-Day Cleanse I ran the New Jersey Marathon.  I wasn't sure if doing a cleanse right before my race was the best idea, but it proved to be a really good one.  After a tough marathon finish in Philadelphia (Nov. 2014), I was determined to finish strong and with a PR.  To give me an extra boost in meeting my goal time, I ran the entire race with a pace team.  Thanks Tim for the extra push at the end to finish my best marathon to date!

  • 1-16 oz. Green Smoothie (banana, pear, kale, romaine, frozen mango, lemon, and filtered water)

  • Romaine salad with shredded squash, carrots, chickpeas, purple cabbage, and tomatoes
Snack
  • Small handful of Raw Trek Mix (cashews, almonds, raisins, walnuts,and hazelnuts)
